Terms of Service

Last updated: 28 September 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Sana (“we”, “us” or “our”), and they apply to the Sana app and this website. You must be 18 or over to use Sana. You accept these terms when you tap Agree and continue in the app. If you don't agree, please don't use Sana.

Health and safety

Yoga is physical activity and carries a risk of injury. Sana sessions are built around the level and preferences you give us. They are not tailored to your health, and they are not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Sana isn't a substitute for a doctor, physiotherapist or in-person teacher.

  • Check with a doctor before starting, especially if you're pregnant, recovering from an injury or surgery, or have a health condition.
  • Sessions follow the level and style you choose, so pick ones that match your experience and how you feel that day.
  • Sana can't see you or correct your form. You're responsible for choosing what's right for your body, modifying or skipping poses, and stopping if you feel pain, dizziness or shortness of breath. Get medical help if it doesn't pass.
  • You're responsible for your practice space and equipment. Use a non-slip surface, clear the area of furniture and hazards, and make sure there's enough room to move and lie down safely.

By starting a session, you accept these risks.

Our sessions

Sessions are created with the help of AI and checked against our safety and sequencing rules before they're published. No session suits everyone, and a cue may not be right for you.

Using Sana

Sana and its sessions, audio and content belong to us. We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use them for your own practice. You must not copy, share or resell sessions or audio.

Your data

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

Changes to Sana

We may change, add or withdraw sessions and features.

Our liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where the law doesn't allow it, and your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

We're not responsible for injury, illness or loss caused by how you choose to practise, including where you don't follow the guidance in a session or in the health and safety section above.

We're also not responsible for losses we couldn't reasonably have foreseen, or for business losses, as Sana is for personal use.

Ending your use

You can stop using Sana at any time and delete your account in the app, under Account.

We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms. If we stop offering Sana, we'll give you reasonable notice.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we'll tell you in the app and ask you to accept it before your next session. If you don't accept, you can stop using Sana and delete your account.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and you keep any protections your local law gives you. If a court decides that part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If Sana transfers to another company, these terms transfer with it.
