Sana (“we,” “us,” or “our”) builds AI-guided yoga classes for home practice. This policy explains what information we collect when you join our pre-launch waitlist, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website and waitlist sign-up.
Sana has not launched yet. Right now, the only personal information we handle is what you give us when you join the waitlist. The waitlist is intended for adults, and isn't directed to children under 16.
Information we collect
When you join the waitlist, we collect:
- Your email address, which you provide to join the list.
- Optional survey answersyou choose to share about your practice — for example your experience level, preferred style, how often you practice, what makes home practice hard, whether you'd like to help test the beta, and how you heard about us.
Survey answers are entirely optional. You can join the waitlist with your email alone, and skip any question you prefer not to answer.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information, payment details, or health records through the waitlist.
How we use your information
We use the information you provide to:
- Send you a confirmation that you've joined the waitlist.
- Email you about Sana's progress and let you know when it launches.
- Understand early interest and shape what we build.
- Invite suitable people to take part in beta testing.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of trusted service providers to operate the waitlist on our behalf, and share information with them only as needed to do so:
- A cloud database provider that securely stores the waitlist.
- An email delivery provider that sends our confirmation and update emails.
These providers act on our instructions under their own privacy and security commitments. We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
Data retention
We keep your waitlist information until Sana launches and you become a user, until you ask us to delete it, or until we decide not to move forward — whichever comes first. If you unsubscribe or request deletion, we'll remove your information promptly, except where we're required to retain it by law.
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any message, or by emailing us. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain uses. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below — it's the same simple process for everyone.
You can ask us to delete your waitlist information at any time by emailing hello@sanasessions.com.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls on our database. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your information and limit who can access it.
International users
We may process and store your information in countries other than your own, including where our service providers operate. Where required, we take steps to ensure your information receives an appropriate level of protection wherever it's handled.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Sana develops. When we do, we'll revise the “last updated” date above, and for significant changes we'll make reasonable efforts to notify you.
